Gulbarga (Ktk), Nov 26 (PTI) Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar today indirectly blamed state governments for failing to implement Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) programmes efficiently. "The Centre is spending Rs 40,000 crore for taking up programmes under MGNREGA, but state governments were unable to reach out to the people including farmers," he said addressing a function at Tadola in Bidar district. "The Centre is ready to provide more funds for taking up developmental works provided the state governments implement MGNREGA programmes efficiently, he said.
